Beauty Builds Upon Itself
Ask any woman if she wants to be beautiful. You’ll most likely get a resounding “yes!”
Then ask any woman if she feels beautiful. And you’ll probably get a booming “no!”
Yet inner beauty and outer beauty are inextricably linked. When you take care of yourself – you feel good about yourself. And when you feel good about yourself, your outer beauty shines!
My treasured friend Pam is a glowing example of this. Here at Akari she is experiencing an array of beauty treatments. The results have been dazzling…not only for Pam’s outer beauty, but for her inner beauty too!

Discovering the Importance of Taking Care of Yourself
Pam is like any super busy, on-the-go single mom who had little, if no time at all, for herself.
And she admits to knowing better – but not caring enough to follow through. Take sun screen, for instance. She knew how important it was and made sure her children had plenty on when they went outdoors – but totally neglected herself.
Now, that’s changed. Her treatments here at Akari altered her life choices. “It has changed me in the fact that I, under no circumstance, will not miss my routine of taking care of my face in the a.m. and p.m.,” Pam emphatically states. “Whereas before, if I was tired, I would just go to bed and call it good.” Not anymore!
The Confidence of Feeling Good About Yourself
Pam discovered what singer, songwriter and actress Lana Del Rey so eloquently stated:
“I know now that it’s really important to feel beautiful. There is a power to that.”
For Pam, who admitted her self-confidence had always been pretty good, now it’s soared to new heights.
“I just get this sense of happiness when people comment on my skin. I used to hear, ‘Be careful with the sun,’ now I hear, ‘Wow your skin really does look so good, so even, so nice!”
Through her treatments here at Akari, Pam discovered that her outer beauty was transforming her inner beauty, too!
“I’m not sure that I perceive myself in a different light or interact differently with others… except when the topic of skincare and/or self-care comes up. I tell them all about what I have done and am doing, and I know they are not just looking at my skin going, really? They are wanting the results and feeling I have!”
You Owe It To Yourself To Take Care of Yourself
Pam has pearls of wisdom for other women:
“Don’t wait for the perfect time to start taking better care of your face, there may not ever be that perfect time you are imagining. You will never look back and say,” Boy I wish I didn’t start taking better care of my skin”…
And for women who aren’t sure about what beauty procedure they would like or if they’re procrastinating for any number of reasons, she simply says: Seeing is believing.
“I would share exactly how I used to be with my skin, my face, and share with her how I am now. Honestly, I don’t feel like I would have to say much because she can see for herself how much it is worth doing by the results I have had!”
“I would tell her she is worth taking care of herself and being good to herself. “
If You Knew Then What You Know Now
As the famous saying goes, hindsight is twenty-twenty. Pam readily admits to not caring for herself.
If she could go through life all over again, she’d make positive changes: “I’d wear sunscreen, use good skin products and use them religiously. I’d make the time for facials.”
But life isn’t about regrets.
As Pam so joyfully states now: “It’s never too early to start. And never too late!”
