Jenny started her cosmetology career in 2009. She grew up in southern New Hampshire and followed her sisters to Maine after graduating from Arizona State University as a Parks and Recreation Management major. After walking into Akari for a haircut, Jenny decided to participate in our apprenticeship program. The wealth of knowledge from her training here to her education completed with Bumble & Bumble, Jane Iredale, and her years of experience have made her chair one of the most coveted at Akari. Jenny loves listening and interpreting what a client desires. Whether specific to their hair, lifestyle, a significant life change, or an event, she loves creating a wearable accessory that makes them their preferred version of themselves. Jenny is a mother of two; she spends her time working on her vegetable and perennial garden and is a certified personal trainer and nutritional coach.
